Hey, I’m Iman! I am a second year Health Science student as well as a vocalist, performer, and songwriter. I started singing when I was too young to feel embarrassed, putting on impromptu performances every chance I got. At 8, I started taking singing more seriously and had my first solo performance to an audience of over 200 people, sang in choirs, performed on the radio a couple times, and began song-writing (yes, it’s highly cringe-worthy at the time). I have since become a finalist for an LA record deal with M2G Studios, performed among the Harvard Chorus as a Soprano 1, and briefly joined Raw Artists. I have taken a brief hiatus to focus on school, but was working on new music before this and training in belting style singing. I love singing pop and have a more recent interest in contemporary R&B vocals, however, I have also been trained to sing classically. I’d describe myself as outgoing, ambitious, optimistic, passionate, and open minded :)

Edwin the N. K has considered music his hobby for over 12 years but recently has been changing up his sounds in an effort to be an independent artist and beat maker in the electronic music scene. Interesting fact about Edwin the N. K: He is an MSc candidate studying Neuroscience at Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario). Originally he is from Kenya but calls Canada his new home. In some of his music, you can hear certain elements that really highlight his experience as an African in diaspora. I know it's a cliche, but I honestly like every genre. The stuff I generally gravitate towards and would probably want to make is sort of progressive/alternative rock and any related genres. I love electronic stuff too but more on the ambient side, less of the intense EDM type stuff.

Ali Dixon is an emerging Canadian-based multimedia artist and filmmaker. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) in the Film and Media Studies Department. In 2019, Ali was one of three students to recieve the CD Howe Scholarship from the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts for her film work.
While the majority of her work is primarily still or moving image, Ali has recently embarked on experimenting with various medias and creative forms, from poetry and prose to soundscapes and digital collage. Ali is a fan of subculture music movements from punk and garage rock to American Gothic rhythm and blues and often uses the aesthetics of these movements in her own mixed media work. She also draws from such themes as the surreal, the occult and the whimisical. A few of her muses include Tim Burton, Floria Sigismondi, Jack White & Mary Harron.

Hi! My name is Sophie and producing music as well as making it is my passion. There have been many days where I retreat into my room and produce until it's dark out. I love rock and roll more than anything else but I can get down to Doja Cat like it's nobody's business. I've entered multiple chicken wing eating contests and one time I saw Drake's mom in Shoppers and ran out because I was nervous. Pretty sure that's everything.
I love to create long ballads where I experiment with different kinds of sounds and genres. Similar to Tame Impala where I could create a 10 min song spanning different melodies and bass lines. Recently I've been very into making "dreamy/psychedelic pop-rock". I'm not the greatest singer by any means but I can carry a tune so I've been singing on my own stuff. I love to experiment with high-frequency sounds. Nothing ear piercing or jarring I just LOVE a well-placed filler that could be a bell or synth.

Sadie McFadden is a vocalist, song writer, multi-instrumentalist and beginner producer. Although her passion for music started at a young age, her music career exploded in high school with performances in New York City, Boston, Chicago and Toronto, with one of her most exceptional performances as a backup singer for Grammy-award winning singer Lorde at the MMVA’s. She continued her career into her time at Queen’s University where she studied History and was deeply involved in the student music community through projects such as local rock band Hinterwood which she is lead vocalist for. This past summer she toured with Hinterwood across the east coast with 10 dates in three weeks, went viral on TikTok with 8 Million views, as well as formed local RnB band Pocket Lint.
