STUDIO432 is the hub of musical creativity on campus. Dimly lit, with access to a wide variety of DAWs, synthesizers and state-of-the-art equipment, 432 offers you a place surging with creative energy that will make it easier than ever to bring your ideas to life.

Every QWave member is free to book time at within certain weekly/hourly limitations - to allow for fair and equal use for all members. Over the next couple of years, 432 will be filled with a variety of synths, instruments, hardware & software that will allow passionate and curious students to learn more about the beautiful (and often overlooked) intricacies of creating music.

*Note: Studio time is only available to book for QWave members. All members are automatically added to the permission list after having joined the collective.

Booking rules:

Bookings can only be made less than 1 day in advance or more than 7 days in advance.
Bookings can be made for 1-2 hours in length.
Members are allotted a maximum of 2 hours of studio time per day, 4 hours per week and 16 hours per month. This is to ensure fair and equal access to all members.
Booking is permitted for members of QWave only. All booking inquiries will be vetted to ensure membership.
If you book time, please show up! Staff members take time out of their day to be of service to you while you’re in there. On that note, staff can reserve the right to cancel a booking if the member is over 15 minutes late.
You may bring a friend or two, but you are responsible (and liable) for their actions while you’re in the studio. Note that the booking must be made by a QWave member.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Studio staff are to be respected and listened to, no questions asked. They are educated in the use of studio equipment and are there to ensure the proper and safe use of studio equipment while you create your art.
